Latest Advances in Psychiatry 2018

We warmly invite you to the 17th Latest Advances in Psychiatry symposium on behalf of the International Society for Affective Disorders (ISAD) and the journal Progress in Neurology and Psychiatry.

The title of this year’s event is Causes, Correlates and Consequences of Mental Ill Health and the range of speakers is diverse and compelling. We have two keynote lectures on the hot topics of the role of inflammation in mental illness and the cellular biology of schizophrenia by Professors Carmine Pariante and Ian Everall respectively.

Other subjects include the origins of PTSD, an overview of the latest perinatal guidelines and a useful insight into the role of the psychiatrist expert witness.

At the end of the lectures there will be time for what is always a lively and informative question and answer session.
